The Clerk is secretary to the Board of Commissioners and attends all meetings of the Board and records proceedings. Other duties include: handling correspondence for the Board of Commissioners, keeps a current agenda for all Commissioner meetings, sets levies based off budget requests of various political subdivisions in the county, budget preparation, BOE (Board of Equalization), zoning contact, and remits monthly reports to the Board of Commissioners and the State of Nebraska.
